Sharing is caring!

bite of creamy grape salad

This creamy grape salad has a sweet cream cheese sauce that is tossed with fresh grapes to make a beautiful and delicious summer salad.  We served this grape salad at our wedding and it has always been one of my favorites.  I like to make it every summer with our homegrown grapes, or anytime grapes are on sale at the grocery store.  This salad is a favorite with kids, so it’s great for summertime BBQ’s and picnics.

It’s as simple as mixing up a few ingredients for the sauce and pouring it over grapes.  The salad can be made ahead of time and refrigerated, making it the perfect side dish for camping, or any summertime cookout.

Why You’ll Love This Recipe

  • Quick – this salad is fast and easy to make
  • Fun – this is a fun way to serve grapes and looks like you went to more work than you did
  • Healthy – fruit combined with some homemade yogurt and cream cheese makes for a healthy fruit salad

Ingredients

  • Cream cheese – make sure your cream cheese is room temperature so it’s soft.  I like to strain my homemade yogurt through a cheesecloth until it’s extra thick, and then
  • Sour cream
  • Sugar
  • Vanilla extract
  • Seedless grapes – I like a mix of red and green grapes.  Crisp grapes are best.
Granola or pecans – these make a great crunchy topping
