How to Make The Best Brown Gravy

In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter, then whisk in the flour. Cook for 1 to 2 minutes, until the flour is browned.

While whisking, gradually pour in the pan juices or broth and cook, whisking, for 5 to 8 minutes, or until the gravy has thickened.

Taste and add salt and pepper as needed. Serve immediately.
